Hello, I need some advice from the C3 crew. What is a fair price for the following:
1969 427- 435 hp. roadster one of 2722 435’s made this is an original 41,000 mile survivor car with all #’s matching drive train, Daytona yellow with black interior – 4-sp close ratio trans.
I have an opportunity to buy it, but I have no idea what the values on C3's are so I want to see what I can expect.
Do you trust the source, i.e. are you sure it is what they say it is? There are a lot of counterfeit 427/435 cars out there. I won't guess at the price, but I would caution you to be very diligent in the inspection process to validate the owner's claims.
Big block + Big HP = BIG, BIG Bucks!!! Actual value would be hard to say, all depends on how high you are willing to go and how low he is willing to go. If it is truly a "survivor", all original with no rust issues or mechanical problems pricing could be in the $50k range.....but the market is kind of soft right now so maybe lower.....but if it is in excellent, showroom condition could be more.....see it all just depends on so many factors.
Good luck with it......sounds like an awsome car.....great investment!
If that car is indeed an original unmolested example without rust or accident issues, you have indeed found a very good deal if it is for sale at what ALL the previous posters have indicated.

$65,000 plus if it's real and as nice as it sounds.
