Is this a stock setup and what is your goal, just a chrome air cleaner on a stock intake?? You can check the stock clearance by sticking a wad of Play-Doh on the air cleaner and closing the hood.

If so, measure it and you have your exact amount of hood clearance.

no im gonna replace the intake and carb when i can but i was wondering the amount of clearance i would have with the different setups but i wanted to know the amount of clearance for a stock setup so i can calculate
