Been having a really crappy and stressful time at work lately and it will likely continue for a while due to a co worker leaving and i'm stuck with the full workload for 2.
But after Supper went out to the garage and put in my # 4 body mounts, riveted in my Shoulder belt brackets and sprayed my undercarrage with black rockguard . Now I feel totally refreshed and ready to start tomorrow with new resolve
DAMM I LOVE MY VETTE!!, its great to work on after a rough day at the office!

Don't do too good at both jobs....or you'll keep them both. That's the way things are done now. Just keep cutting heads and piling up work until it can't quite get done....and use that "method" to find out what headcount you need. There are no ethics in business anymore.

I have been through 4 layoffs in my IT career. In one shop our network group went from 14 to 2, glad I wasn't left behind there!

I know EXACTLY what you mean, to me it works same way, i finish work late afternoon, i'm completely stoned and tired...so before going home a have an hour cruise, fresh wind in the face, no t-tops even if freezing i dont care, return home like a new man...

That's why i felt my driving licence suspension like a chinese torture, because i couldn't take my vette distressing cruise for a month

You could always go on strike.

If they double your workload, they should double your pay.

Give them the option to hire someone else, or pay you two salaries.

This is why I bought my 72.......therapy. I read threads from fellows who are disappointed when they get into their corvette and find all kinds of unwanted surprises.

These surprises are precisely the things I was counting on......

I assume you have a heated garage...
nice toasty 70 degrees once it warms up , I can work in my t shirt while the snow blows outside

The only thing better is getting behind the wheel...
I have only put 4 miles on this car since I bought it 2 years ago, I'm really looking forward to some top off cruises this summer

Give them the option to hire someone else, or pay you two salaries
Some good will come of it, I move into the senior position $$$ and we will be hiring a replacement...just it will take a while to get the rookie up to speed

I'm an air traffic controller/instructor, so I know all about crappy and stressful.

Corvettes definitely give me a needed attitude adjustment whenever I need one.
