Default Installing seat covers

I got some seat covers for the '86 C4 seats I bought off of ebay (for my C3). I have a friend who has done some seat recovering and he asked me if I had any diagrams etc that show the locations of the rods and rings. I tried some searches but I did not get any hits on the subject; dont know if it is my poor searching abilities or there is just not any info? I will take pictures of the existing covers and "stuff" before I remove them but has anyone seen anything like this?

Thanks

Sure

When I did the seats in my 91 years ago the kit came with a diagram. I didn't save the diagram but I bet someone in the C4 section has one and can send you a copy or email it to you. Maybe the ebay seller can send you a diagram.
