When I bought my '71 Vette in 1999, the previous owner
gave me all the documentation he had on the car.
Included was the original owner's manual with Mr and Mrs Duntov's
signatures on it. I also have the photo of them signing it at
the 1996(?) Corvettes At Carlisle.
Is this owner's manual worth anything? I won't sell it. I'll keep it
with the car and all the other documents. Just curious is all.
People like knowing the history of the car that they are buying. Any documentation that you have is worth keeping. It can't hurt. Just be sure it's true, if not you'll loose all credability at time of sale.
Zora was very good about signing almost anything. So, there are thousands of items out there with his signature, from dash pads to air cleaner lids to... . I think your owners manual is worth more because it's an original. It will be even more valuable if it still has the CORVETTE NEWS / Owners Card mail off card in place.
