Winter Blues
I have been noticing how a lot of people want to pic a fight during January & February. March seems like people relax a little more. It must be lack of sunlight, Xmas bills, or just to much snow. Spring is on it's way.
This is just my evaluation, here come the flames
Here's a pic of spring

I think it's the short, cold days for Northerners. For Southerners I guess its having all the Northern Vacationers around.

Do you suppose it has anything to do with over-extended finances? Those Holiday credit card bills came due this month. Glad I'm not down with that.
BTW, it's -18 here today and snowing. !@#$%

I was able to drive a couple of my cars today. The roads aren't too bad here on Cape Cod for the winter. They are dry, no snow and just a little sand in the middle. It felt real nice to be driving a Corvette

It's defenately the short days and lack of sun, sick of the cold and not being able to do much work on the vette this time of year, BUT after a really crazy day at work all afternoon today, all I could think of was taking the vette out on the highway tonight and going through the gears as fast as I could (up to the speed limit that is) for some relaxation! It felt great to just to hear the roar of the engine and drive it.
I feel much better now!

Drove mine a couple of weeks ago and that was neat. That ole big block belched like a WW 2 fighter plane when I first started it. She was not happy about the wake up (unheated garage) but was fine as soon as the temp gauge started moving.

I with Im so ready for spring. Nothing worse then doing a bunch of rebuild work to the car and the most it goes is back out and back in to the otherside of the shop. It sure sounded good might start driving it
at the end of March unless I start body and paint. Well at least this winter wasnt as bad as last winter just colder last year we got a bunch of snow.
Best Regards

interesting thread.
Funny, I was just talking to one of my vendors about this last week. Seemingly all of our clients/prospective clients are extremely bellingerent the last few months. Seriously, I am unsure if it's the weather, the economy, the wars in the M.E. or what but...I have seen an increase in the crabby attitudes as well. Perhaps this year is no different from others??? Who knows, but man...If someone is feeling sh%##y, it would sure be great if they could work it out without flinging it on everyone around them...
for reals.
And yes, a little bit of warm sunshine wouldn't hurt anyone.

I second that. Cold and snowing right now for cripes sake. I went out to the garage today, pulled the wheels and waxed them. Also used Z6 Zaino on the car. The only bad thing about that....the car is still sitting in the garage only a little cleaner.

Every winter I tell myself that next year I am going to spend the money and heat the garage. A little kerosene Reddy Heater just doesn't cut it here. And then spring comes and I start in on projects. And I forget about the long cold winters.
Well, this year is the year. I don't have a plan as far as electric or gas but I am tired of sitting all winter wishing I could get out into the garage. It has been over two months now since I even saw the 72 and I don't even remember where I put the C4.
It wouldn't hurt my feelings any if some of you warm climate guys would post some pics just to remind me of what summer is like.
