The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

1981 Black - Currently Own
1980 White - Sold Last Summer
1998 Black - Totaled on (11/12/07)

I'm just curious about something though,......"How does a person go from owning a list of cars like the one below, to just owning a 1981 Corvette?"
I mean you're talking about some pretty "High End" vehicles there. Don't get me wrong, I've always liked the "LOOK" of 80-82 Vettes,....but I've owned a C5, and drove a Viper before, and I just can't image why anybody would ever sell (the kind of cars listed below) and buy a 190HP late model C3? Again, I'm just curious.

Second and third 1971 coup and 67 big block vert

Currently have 1969 big block coup

Not pictured current 1969 nostalgia drag car and 1965 vert (co-owned to be sold cars)

1998 Mustang Cobra
1966 Mustang coupe
1981 Camaro Z28
1977 Trans Am
1973 Trans Am Super Duty ( only one I wish I still had
)1966 Mustang 2+2
1965 Impala SS (only a 283 2 speed powerglide car)
Always wanted a vette but was intimidated by fiberglass, wish I had started with them sooner.............
1978, dark brown/brown L48 auto in 1981- sold
1964, roadster, daytona blue/blue, 327/300/4speed in 1983-sold
1979, red/tan L48/4 speed, in 1985. Paited black in 1987-sold
1979, black/red L48/auto in 1991-sold
1972, red/black coupe, 350/4 speed in 2002-sold
1991, red/black coupe, 350/auto in 2003-sold
1980, dark blue/dark blue, 350/auto in 2007-currnetly have.
I have mostly owned Corvettes since age 25 and will mostlikly always have one around.

Since doing the 81 over the last few months I have really enjoyed the whole process and I think I will stick with getting older Corvettes, So far I have really enjoyed fixing this one up.
So there is your anwer

81 Corvette Black 5 speed
80 Corvette White Automatic gone
Will never own a automatic, to much fun grinded the gears.
Hey Yankee I think you would liked this, since you like yellow and no one is just listing vettes.

Another curiosity question,......why not profile any of these "High End" cars on your Cardomain Page? After all, Cardomain is a "Show Off What You Got" site.
