So I purchased a used cast intake as a test, had it tumbled/cleaned at the local NAPA. I put it into the oven this morning with some other small parts & baked it for 40 minutes. Let it cool down for an hour then powder coated it. The intake was still very warm when I coated it but not so warm that is caused the powder to melt.

Very pleased with this. The downside is: The intake is going to look bitchin' so everything else will have to be done!

The intake looks great, but you're now about to spiral down hill the same way I did - like you said, everything else has to be done now!! Don't worry too much, you'll eventually run out of things to pc
