this is way off topic, i know. But i figure it will be ammuseing. I have a silver 1980 corvette, and am thinking of a name for it. The reasons for naming it are 1) something to call it; and 2) to annoy my girlfriend. Why would i want to annoy my girlfriend you ask? well mostly because she tried to name my car gertrude. Now i have no problem with that name persay. But, its clearly an old lady name, and i think it deserves better.
So i ask you, help me find a name before the old lady name becomes permanant!
thanks,
Steve
lol, Sarah, and she was about as expensive and high maintnence as the car, so it would work, but i dont think i want to **** off my girlfriend that much however funny it would be
IMHO, it should be something like...big red, ole' yeller, blue, just anything that has zero to do with silver. Or spell silver sideways and call it Sliver. I'm not good with vehicle names as evident here.
Call the car "Kellie" as in Kellie Pickler. If you dont know who that is, put it in your browser. If the GF sees that name and checks out how HOT 'Kellie' is, grantee no more girlie names for the Vette,
Your car will be back to "the Vette" before you can spell it,

I would caution against using any names of actual ex-girlfriends for your Vette, unless you're OK with sleeping in the garage with it. Of course, if she has a habit of comparing you to hers, that's exactly what I'd do.
