Functionality aside, I'm not much for the louvre look.

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say you do not letyour car bake in the sun very often and do not use your car as a daily driver.

My 79 has stains on the back glass from where someone else had louvers on it, but I personally don't like them and wouldn't put them on.

I like your car without them. I tried to imagine them on the side view shot, and think it will detract from the clean lines your car has now.

Absolutely not!
You wouldn't put a bumper sticker on a ZR1, so why is this any different? Louvers would absolutely RUIN your beautiful car.

Cant take a good side shot in the 1-car garage,& due to our VERY NICE weather we're having,an outside shot will have to wait! ---One plus is that the louvers came from a freind off an 80 Corvette,& I got them for free. Looks like the only way to attach them is how they were previously, with double-sided tape

NO LOUVERS
To be honest, the paint doesnt look in person as good as in pics. But that will be remedied evenually. As far as a "daily driver"? -I have to say no due to my classic car insurance limitations...LOL . During the summer months,...around here thats about 3, I'm driving it at least 2-3 times a week. I'm getting lazier in the detailing dept. now though with my back problems,& if I can help it,I wont drive in the rain.

Maybe someone could photoshop them to match the body color and see how they look that way. I'd have to vote no as black.

Nice vette. I like the cleaner look, though I've wondered about the ground effects for mine. They look good on yours; adding the louvers may get to be too many accessories.

I like louvres on some vettes, but like someone else already said, the louvres along with your ground effects and hood may be too much.
