Just closer,is all. I should mention,it IS a one-piece unit,made of aluminum,not plastic. If I did use it,another option would be paint it.but I think that would just create more maintenance.As it is,it looks like anodized or maybe powdercoat...I think anodized,though. MORE PICS->

What we think about it doesn't really matter. Since you live in California and get a bunch of sun in that big back window....you probably NEED the louvers. I don't care much for them, but if I lived where you do, I would either by an earlier C3 (without the bubble window in back) or get some louvers.

with the 79-82s you almost gotta run the louvers, unless you like the atrium look. The louver is a bit boy racer, but still looks cool. I wouls def run one. Louver.
