How do you guy fix the holes in the dash pads of your 68 - 72. My center gauge panel is just loosely fitted with stripped out screws. Is there a quick fix?

Although I haven't tried it, you might try to epoxy some rubber behind the old holes and pre-drill it with a small pilot hole. That might get you the same kind of grip as the original dash material.
It sounds as if you do not have the little tapered washers that fit in those holes before the mating screws are installed. If you do not have them, you need to order some to make the dash pad right. For the rework, use some blue painter's tape to mask off the surface around each hole. Get some JB Weld [putty-type epoxy] and mix up a marble-sized ball of it. Pinch off a bit and put it in the hole entry areas (work on one at a time). Use one of the tapered washers and press it into the epoxy to shape it properly....you might want to put just a light wipe of oil on the surface of the washer so that it will pop out of the epoxy easily. Use a toothpick, paper clip, whatever to retrieve the washer. Do the same for the other holes. Let epoxy harden; drill hole for allowing the screws to pass through easily; clean the hole surfaces then use some vinly dye on a cotton swab to re-color the new hole surfaces. How's that?

Most of the Corvette aftermarket supply places...especially those that carry "hardware". My catalogs are in boxes right now [just moved], so I can't check them out. Try Corvette America, Mid-America, Ecklers, Rik's Corvette Parts; one of them should carry them. I don't think any of the local auto parts stores have them....they are a special design from GM and I've never seen them on anything else. Check your driver's side dash upper screws. If they are correct, take one out and check it out. If not, buy six (or 10, if you want any spares).
I have used those plastic drywall anchors and just pushed them in the stripped out holes and they actually work pretty good, and the price is right too.
