I've only had one transaction with a forum member and the transaction went fine. The only delay in the whole thing was the fact that I had thrown out my back and needed to get a box large enough for the item. At the time, I could barely move much less get outta the house. I kept intouch with the purchaser and explained the situation. He was most understanding. VERY understanding considering he had already sent me the shipping costs in cash. I felt horrible about the delay and I didn't want him to lose faith in a fellow forum member. Thank goodness, he did not. I have the utmost faith in our members and am secure in the feeling that the vast majority of us here are folks with integrity and goodwill. "Calling someone out" here on the forum is a slippery slope at best. If I were the seller in this case, I would be a bit pissed. Glad you got your parts- And to the seller, try not to be offended however hard that may be.

It's actually a good example of why all the ebay sellers are up in arms and actually boycotting the feedback changes over there. Quite often buyers behave like this and now the sellers have no recourse after the fact. Similar to what Kevinator says, it's tough to unring a bell.

Thank you guys for the vote of confidence..
I guess next time I'll just charge twice as much for shipping through fedex or ups so it can be tracked..
I guess that's what I get for trying to save someone some money..

Hey, hey, hey!! Don't be making broad decisions like that without consulting with us. Just give buyers a choice or just be up front with buyers about wanting to save the buyer some $$ and shipping times being out of your hands once you deliver an item to USPS to save a little.

If time is critical and $$ are not, then I'd be paying some other vendor extra $$ for anxiety relief.

As I said before, I was not trying to ruin anyone's name, just stating to be careful when making purchases. Thanks to all the replies for help information.

This is when you should have asked a moderator to delete this thread.

Now at the very least you might want to edit the 1st post explaining that you jumped the gun so the lazy reader won't get the wrong impression about C3 in Hawaii.
