Can anyone tell me which tranny came in the 81 automatic?700r or 200r?Thanks

I would guess a TH350 or a TH700R4. I don't think the TH200R4 was ever behind a 350 stock, just a 305.

Appears 700r started in 82.

Did you order one of the free restoration packets? it provides all that information. Rather than searching for info on the internet most is provided in the packet.

From what I found out it has an MX1.4 SPD AUTO. I just didn't know if it was a 700r?

THANKS,I thought it had the 350 in it but another forum lists the 81 as having a 4spd auto.
