I have an opportunity to buy a silver anniversary vette 350 automatic with 11,000 actual miles. The car has never been in the rain and in fact still has the original tires on it. Just a coupe with auto and air. It has been kept in the garage all of this time and is one owner.
Question...What is it worth, or what would a good price be?
Advice...I am relatively sure that all seals, gaskets etc would have to be replaced....What else could I expect to spend to make it driveable?
As with all inquiries like this, pictures would help a huge amount in giving you a value. It's easy to just throw numbers out, but they could be way off.

I know u r right about pics, but I don't have any. However, it looks like it came off the showroom floor.
Looks are "nice", but that really just indicates that paint is in good shape and detailing has been done [in order to sell it]. More important is the condition of the mechanical systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension. Also important to assess condition of frame/birdcage re. rust and other damage. A third consideration is whether is has all of the pieces/parts that came on the car (whether original or replaced); buying many replacement parts becomes a costly business. Good luck with your purchase.

Thanks 7, the owner bought it new and it is all original...as far as mechanics, don't know yet.
The miles are low but not low enough to be overly excited about. I would not be surprised if it was a $17,000 car but that is about as high as it should go for an educated buyer and seller for an excellent but otherwise aged car IMHO. I have seen good full restos go looking for buyers and not easily finding many at that level.
