Looks GREAT but is the hood just a tad too short lol. 
This is the hood I am going to run a 5 inch Cowl hood I purchased from a forum member. As I also have a 73 but right now it is Orange as for a new color and stripes I am still up in the air lol.
I am thinking either a Jade Green Matalic with Black motion stripes or Atomic Orange with either Black or ghost motion stripes.

Ya was trying not to think about it right at the moment though lol
Going to wait a couple weeks then wet sand and buff and wax then start putting it back together.I figure another year before it is complete seeing as the wife wont let me quit my job to just work on the car sigh....

I would hope he will tell you that is not a good idea until the paint has fully cured. Wax to soon and you end up with solvent pop defect which is repaired by repainting.
Not sure about how long it takes to fully cure on fibreglass, but on metal I don't wax for 60 days.
