DP epoxy primer?

PPG will tell you that once you open a can of dp Epoxy primer catalyst you have seven days to use it or loose it. Has anyone used it past the seven days and still have good results? And if so, how many days past.

The problem here is that you won't know you waited too long on the primer until you find your top coat laying on the floor of your garage.

I bought small cans of catalyst. Just in case the shelf life is true.

I have used some that was 2 years old and no problems, but it needs to be stored properly. Moisture is the big enemy on the catylist. Tape the lid with electrical tape and turn the can upside down. My best friend was the local PPG store manager and now the PPG outside sale person for the region. But he'll officially tell you a week or so. If it's been sealed you should be o.k..
