3-17-08 Newsweek pg 46 reported on a new pain pill
Validone
Study showed 85% felt less pain @ $2.50 each
but only 61% felt less pain at a dime each.
But it was a Placebo!
Good article to read.

Thank You Lars
As one of the many you have helped, please accept my thanks.
As someone who gets regularly pounded, allow me to encourage you to try "inversion". Hanging upside down to plumb yourself straight naturally,
is a no brainer for me. They have racks on sale for less than $200.
You have too much to lose, do some research on the topic.
I do it every day before work and before training. You have nothing to lose but your pain.

Take care of them vertebrae, they're tricky little things. Don't rush back into anything. Hope the surgery goes uneventfully, and that some physio and medication afterwards gets you back at your game in short order.

Best wishes Lars and get well soon. I have some understanding of what you're going through. I injured my neck and have partial paralysis of my left arm and shoulder.
