Default Update on Lars

Just wanted to give you guys a quick info post...

I have managed to do some severe damage to my neck, resulting in partial paralysis of my right arm and hand from a pinch-off and flattening of a portion of my spinal chord. I've been building the last few carbs and distributors left-handed, and I'm going in for emergency surgery Monday (3-17-08) morning. For this reason, I'll probably be a bit out of touch on my e-mail technical correspondance and assistance, and I may be a little scarce here on the Forum as a technical contributor until I can re-gain some functionality again. But I'll be back with you guys as soon as practical.

All carbs and distributors that have been shipped to me have either been completed and shipped out, or are awaiting parts that will arrive by the time I'm recovered enough to keep the jobs going, so there is no issue with anyone not getting their stuff back in a near-normal amount of time. If, for any reason, something goes very wrong with the surgery, my son has instructions to assure the safe return of all parts to their proper owners.

I'll be back with you guys soon - I appreciate everyone's support and friendship - take care for now!

Lars

Wow!
Hope all works out well with your surgery. Take care of yourself and don't worry about work. It will be there when you get back. If there is anything we can do just pass the word.

Lars...I hope they fix you up good as new. Health issues are no fun. My heart is now plumbed with braided metal "fuel lines" with the SIX stents they installed over the last year. I am back to running 3 miles - 4 times a week. Keep moving and don't let it get you down!

I hope you make a 100% recovery !
