Vacuum hose

Default Vacuum hose
Hi,

I am going to connect my vacuum hose from the HEI to my Rochester 7029207 carburetor.
I can see 2 connections on the Rochester, one in the front, and one on the passenger side
Witch connection shall I use?

Typical for vacuum advance to use the nipple on the front bottom of th carburetor.

the outlet from the carb that you use should only be pulling vacuum when the car is under acceleration. Otherwise your timing is going to be off.

Test both outlets to see which has vacuum on it at idle. Choose the one that does have idle vacuum; plug off the other one. If both have vacuum at idle, take your pick.
