Default Down Force-baby, Not John Force

This is the wing that came with the 69 car, have you seen anything like it, it is so ugly that it is sort of neat, it is just sitting there, it bolts down, only is about 25 pounds, made out of fiberglass alot of workmanship went into this, I think that I will restore it but not put it back on. I like to be a little different, but a shark with a tail I am not sure---THANKS JON

With that color scheme it reminds me of a prop from a 1970s game show or something. I've seen way worse looking wings on a C3 though... could be a nice wall hanging item?

You should put that car in a wind tunnel. I have my doubts as to the benefit for downforce with that design!

Looks like a great place to set a plate of sandwiches and a pitcher of beer, while you're working on the car.

More like a whale-tail. Some of the early 70's Indy [500] cars had big wings like that...maybe the PO thought those looked cool. With the size and weight of that thing, down'force' isn't an issue.

Have placed my beer on it, but the more I drank the more the wing looked cool, so I quit doing it

Wow! It's like an acid flashback. Get yourself a leisure suit and head to the disco in that. I think I like it!

My preference would be to make a coffee table for the shop with it. I do like the colors on your car. Very period correct. Look at the link of the road racer- the color scheme is really wild. See "Great 68 racing video"--it was posted yesterday

Reminds me of the 70's Porsche's whale tails.

Putting gas in should be simple. You don't need a funnel, just let it drain down the center of the tail.
