Default 72 jack storage compartment

The storage bin for the jack; does the jack lay on anything to keep it from rattling? I know there is supposed to be a spring to hold it down. Can someone send a photo of the jack inside the bin? thanks steve

I cut out a piece of rubber mat about 1/8 " thick to the shape of jack storage area. First used a piece of paper to outline a template which sort of resembles a bowtie, it's an odd shape. Also did the same for the battery.
No noise, rattles or best of all wear on the fiberglass here.

The towel under the jack should be kept CLEAN because you never know when the passenger's roof panel will be leaking so much that your wife will need it to keep her knees dry.
Regards,
Alan

Is the lug nut wrench stored under the jack? Mine was dismantled, and now I can’t find any info on how to assemble it for storage.
