Carpet installation question
I am putting all new interior into my 1970 vette.
I also put in new firewall insulation that closely matches the factory style fire wall insulation. I have also put in Koolmat under the carpet.
Questions;
Does the new carpet (front piece toward the firewall) tuck under the firewall installation botom edge or go over it?
Do the (push in) factory rubber fasteners go through the front edge of the carpet to hold it in place or just through the firewall insulation piece?

After a thorough evaluation, I'd bet many forum members would appreciate hearing about your Koolmat installation and it's impact on temperature and noise. Also, any tips regarding the installation?
