Does anyone know what is in my heater core coolant line? It has a 120V plug and about 3 feet of wire connected to it.

When I retire someday, I'm gonna drive south till somebody asks what that cord is for hanging out the front of the car. That'll be warm enough for me.

Can't think of anything else that would be plumbed into a coolant line and have a 120V plug.

You do not have any of your profile info filled out so I have to ask, what state are you located in? That may explain the Block Heater mystery.
Bill in RI, Yah we know block heaters

There is probably a fine line of where that is. Florida is so far south that it's north again. Probably lots of people there know what a block heater is, but not so many in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, South Texas....
