Default Control Arms

This past weekend I replaced my upper and lower control arm bushings from the old stock worn out ones to polyurethane, and threw on a new set of the bilstein sport ride shocks. However now my front end sits a little higher and the right is maybe an inch higher than the left. Did I go wrong somewhere?

Sounds like you didn't get one of the coil springs located properly in its A-arm. There is a particular orientation for the coils so that what you are experiencing doesn't happen. Check your Service Manual for proper installation procedure.

on my 79, i found that the bottom side end of the spring, came out just over the small drain hole in the spring seat area of the lower control arm. they must be oriented correctly or you will experience your problems.

Last weekend I was finishing my 5 speed install and decided to take another look at that front right spring. I found it seated on the lower a arm correctly but up top it was not seated properly. With a little bit of prying it popped right into place and now it sit level in front. thanks for the help.
