Starter Problem
My car is a bit hard to start, I pump the gas twice and it usually starts but sometimes it takes two or three times. When this happens, sometimes it just clicks like the starter is hung up then after a few more times of off and on clicking it will start to turn over again and start. Sounds to me like a Carb problem but the starter, well I'm not sure. Any suggestions????

I would start with the easy stuff. Make sure all battery contacts are clean and the cables are in good shape. If in doubt, replace. While the battery is disconnected check the contacts and connections at the starter. Are they all clean and tight? Check the negative cable where it connects to the frame. If all checks out ok, inspect your charging system. Is it working properly? How old is your battery, is it holding a charge? If all check out ok, you should consider changing your starter with a good rebuild.

I agree with checking connections sure sound like the starter though.Bring it to a local shope have them test battery and strter draw test,should take abut 5 minutes for that.Then their is no guessing and you no for sure.My money is on the starter.I bet its over 300amps.
