I pulled the center gauge yesterday to replace half of the bulbs burnt out in the console. Needless to say i found some things that I didnt like. First it looks like the bulbs sockets arent the right ones considering the only light to work is the low fuel and one of the sockets was missing. My question is, is that circuit board on the back prone to fail and i see that there are 2 sizes of bulb sockets which ones go where, and is there a way to clean that circuit board? Thanks guys for the help.
If memory serves correctly, all the bulbs should be the same - they were on my '78.
Replace the circuit boards while you are in there, they aren't that expensive and then you know all is good. I got mine for both dash and console from Willcox.
ok i plan on doin that since ive took it apart the fuel gauge doesnt work but the light does im gonna check it tonite to see if everything lights up is it worth cleaning or should i just buy a new one
