HELP please

I had my sill plates off for a week and when I went to put them back on, it looks like the sheet below shifted. Is this possible? The driver side went on fine. There's no way the screws went in at that angle...Could this have happened by me taking a little cruise with plate off? I don't think those screws could have kept it from sliding. I'm baffled. I'd appreciate any ideas!

I don't think that's even possible. That's the top of the frame rail isn't it?

Looks like a PO had a sill rust problem and put some 'loose' covers over to hide the damage.

{Maybe not...just a suspicion.}

If it did move you have a more serious problem. Just put the screws back in and forget about it. The glass sill, is riveted to the rocker channel.
