Question:

How do those small valve covers fit on a 427?

I take it that you've not heard of the "Stealth" rocker covers? Put them on a BB to make it look like a SB. Fool your friends and confuse your enemies..

Actually, it is a BB car. He just Photoshopped a SB into the engine compartment to avoid having to pay gas guzzler taxes.

If it's not a 427 he couldn't put that 67 scoop on the hood...could he?
Regards,
Alan

The hood is hideous, the engine compartment is nasty, it's not a big block, he doesn't even mention replacing the rear cap, and apparently he stutters. ("maacco" headlights)

Yes you can.

So there is the possiblity it COULD be a 427 sbc.

But then no way in hell it can be a STOCK 427 sbc.

But the alternator isn't in the small block location.

The Muncie 5-speed wouldn't be stock either, would it? Definitely not on a '76.

So much wrong with the ad I am getting bored with it.

I'd be willing to drive to his local track and bet a grand that it couldnt run in the tens.Definetly a small block 427 or not-stock intake, edelbrock or quadrajet carb, hei with 3 different types of wire on it.Oh yeah and a 5 speed muncie-hmmm didnt think they made a 5 spd-stupid.If it ran tens id by it on the spot..............
