Default Taillights

This seems like a stupid question but, what is the difference between 74 and 75-79 taillights?

75-79 screws in from front. 74 has studs and screws from back i think.

Default lights

I agree with Chris about the '74 lights. However, be careful about the words "front" and "back". If you're at the back of the car looking forward, which is "front" and which is "back"? The lights in my '74 have to be undone by REARWARD facing screws that go into the FORWARD facing "rear" section of the light housings.

Crikey, I hope that made sense.

cajos,
15 months until I once more visit your great country along with a whole bunch of other Aussies. We are joining the 15th Birthday Caravan to Bowling Green in September, but are arriving in New York in August.

After a bit of sight-seeing and a visit to Corvettes at Carlisle, we'll be joining the New England Caravan nearby for the run down to BG. I hope to see as many of you there as possible.

You can look up the plans on the Corvette Museum website. Go to "Future Events" and look for the "2009 Caravan" and go to the "International" section. You'll see me there, along with Captain James Pierce and a photo of his RHD '68 convertible that he hopes to bring over for the Caravan.

OOOOOOOPS ,
Just realised you are not from the USA, cajos, my bad . I'm sure that Holland is also a great country, but I meant the USA.

Hahahha, no problem.
Sounds like fun, taking the Vette with you?
