Default 1979 Restoration

Hey guys I'm also a new member to the forum. I'm 18 years old and live in VA and my dad and i bought an pretty beat up 79 about a year ago and weve been restoring it now for a while. We've actually come pretty far, the interior is basically done (i just want to get some kind of cd player in there), and after a long period of sanding and fiberglassing we got it painted. The engine has seemed to be pretty good but the only questionable part about the car now is the suspension . I just wanted to introduce myself so thanks for reading. I'm really glad to be a corvette owner and any tips or guidelines about anything would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pics of before and now. (sorry i dont have any of the interior right now, ill try to get some up later today)

Welcome from another 79 owner in VA. Looks like ya'll have done a ton of work already. Where in VA are you? I'm just outside Richmond.

Just looking at the before and after pictures you and your dad have done a very nice job, it's always nice to see one that was not in the best condition restored, cleaned up and put back on the road looking great, two thumbs up for your efforts

That's a fine, fine job. If you & your Dad get bored you can over to San Antonio & help finish my 79. I have cold beer & a pool.

Enjoy the car. Nothing like working with your dad on a common project.

Nice job. Looks like it was pretty rough when you got it. Thanks for bringing another one back to life. I really like the black stripe on the hood. That looks
