posting vs. driving
Some of us are actually driving more than posting because we HAVE spent that time fixing, upgrading, and modding our cars instead of sitting in front of a computer racking up post #'s. I'm proud of the fact my post count has a low average for the time I've been a member here. It means I've spent more time enjoying the fruits of my labor than I have posting about it. If some people spent as much time working on their car as they do posting, maybe they could enjoy driving it more often.
If you go through and look at the majority of my posts, it's late at night when I can't drive or work on my car anyway. As long as it's not raining and I'm not busy living the rest of my life, (you know, family, friends, work) I'm out cruising around in the Vette,
not sitting in front of a computer increasing my post count.
Come to think of it, posting on here is how I came across the idea and parts to make my car a convertible which is causing me to do tons more work than I originally needed to do which in turn causes me to spend tons more money.
I guess for me I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't when it comes to posting on here!
My 69 Mustang vert is up and running and I drive it just about every weekend the weather will permit. The Vette will get similar attention when it is "finished".

........No No, wait a second,.......
Im sorry, what were you saying???
What,....you don't think I have a sense of humor? Just the simple fact you two thought I was uptight by the reply I made has me busting my gut!!!
I get such a kick out of it when I see somebody tell me to "chill out" or "take it easy".....especially when I was never upset to begin with. And that rediculous comment above about "be happy it's only words"
now THAT'S FUNNY!!!
It's actually one of the funniest things I've heard in a very long time! First of all it was an opinion and a comment, nothing more, nothing less. Everybody has 'em, everybody posts 'em. Just like I will continue to have 'em and I'll continue to post 'em. If somebody wants to be so ignorant as to assume they know what kind of mood I'm in when I do post 'em, well then by all means, please go ahead and waste your time with rediculous comments like that. I can definitely use the laugh!
I certainly won't change my feeling about that comment either. IMO it doesn't even make sense. If you're driving more than posting, then you're not doing enough repairs, upgrades or modding? I'm sorry, but have any of you seen my cars??? It proves my point!!! If I would have spent more time posting than fixing & modding, I wouldn't be able to go out there and spend all my time driving modified cars now would I?
So unless I'm missing something here, how does posting more often than driving equate to more repairs, upgrades and mods? I definitely learn more about what's going on with my cars by driving 'em around vs sitting here posting on the computer.
Well, I guess I better end this with a great big old smile
before somebody accuses me again of needing to take it easy or lighten up!
