This is how it looked when I purchased it. Had to repair a fuel line before firing it up.

Still need to install the Smog pump and GF 432 Fuel filter for that sleeper look. I'll probably reinstall the factory exhaust manifolds when the 327 goes back in.
What did you use to paint or polish the alternator and shine up the intake manifold? I need to do the same to mine and now's the time since the engine is out of the bay.
Ecklers, It's suppose to be a 68 early, but they sent a 69 with the screw adapter. I was fine with that as long as it went in and out. I went through three before I received one that worked.
Buddy it really looks good,BUT it would look alot better with a LSx motor in it
Thanks Pat. I loved the 78, but I always wanted a bumper car. This car will never be a #'s match car, so you never know what it will progress into. Right now it's just going to be a driver and the occasional cruise show.
Not yet got alot to do before it goes back on,need to get cam in, finish fuel lines and pump then ill be onto the body. Not doing body till garage is done ,which there doing the block work tommorrow, nice to see progress finally.
