Actually I'm curious about the sparkplug issue as well. I have Trick Flow 23* heads with angled plugs, will the headers work with them and still let me get plugs in/out and the boot on?
A pair of sidepipe headers on ebay right now for $125, unfortunately they're for BB's so won't fit my 383
I actually had the same problem with my aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM heads with angled plugs...got everything buttoned up and S#!T they would go one with the spark plugs....I found that the only way to install them was to heat them up with my welding worth on just flame mode and started banging on the area that needed to be dented..I'm losing a little power out of that cylinder I bet, not not much to make me care
No you can't feel the heat until you get out, be very careful ! In addition to Bad aaassss sound ,all the imports alarms will sound off a salute to you as you pass

Hrm well good to know. I don't mind banging a little dent in one port if I have to for the awesomeness that is sidepipes
One man's opinion: I love the sound of a powerful V-8 engine. With the exception of open headers, nothing delivers that sound to my ears better than a set of 4" inch sidepipes. The sound is very exciting and stimulating when its so close to you. Almost sounds like a racecar. That unmistakable sidepipe roar will put a smile on your face and on your passengers. You'll also find you enjoy having the windows down again just to hear them. Who needs a radio or A/C?, not me. That sound instantly reminds me I'm in America's best sports car. When you start it up people bend their necks to see and hear it. And they're smiling too. Almost any C-3 looks better with them. Not to mention about a 25 h.p gain. Now I may be deaf and look like I slept with a coat hanger in my mouth, but I wouldn't trade my hooker header sidepipes in for any other exhaust system on the planet, even if I burn my leg once or twice, which I have and probably will again.
O.C.K you sold me. this is what i love about harleys. sounds like i get the same thing plus a place to put my guitar. im now shopping!
