For Edelbrock performer RPM heads with angled...even short header plugs will not allow enough clearance. Don't ask me how I know! makes you leave one helluva dent in one of the tubes!

It's bad design by Hookers to not allow for angle plugs. What were they thinking!

I have edelbrock angle plug heads, victor jr,and i have hooker super comp headers ,not side pipe.and i got short plugs and i have plenty of space, what is your problem with your headers.Just wondering what you guys problem is.There must be some kind of difference between the straight headers and the side pipe headers.

well, is yours a BB or SB? mine is a SB, and there was no way that the sidepipe headers would work without a dent!

actually, I saw a guys do that with a Trans-Am mustang. Works really well, holds everyting in place and out of the way. Kinda cheap, but I think it looks more Racey than a plastic holder that bolts to the valve covers....Also, it gives better acces to them from above, rather than feeding them under the headers

well, I have had Headmans on before I went to sidepipes and they worked. But if you want sidepipes, STAHL would be your best bet. They custom make them, but cost a good bit more!

Yellow72 you have trick flow heads, they are different then edelbrock heads, edelbrock changed their angle heads and they do not make a header that fits our cars (corvette). You have to get custom headers made, which really pisses me off because they dont tell you this in any advertisement.I called edelbrock and talked to their rep, and he told me i could only go to kooks or lemons to have custom headers made(kiss my ***) im pissed at the guy and tell him i have alot of guys on the corvette club ,that are having the same problem and he tells me they cant be concerned with them. oh im stoked now of the lack of regard for this problem. So i recomend that everybody dont buy their heads.Just a heads up. Bill
