Welcome! Nice first vette.
Don't rush to change anything to the car unless it's safety related at this point. Since this is a pretty original car I'd keep it that way for now. Get to know it. Drive it as much as possible.
Over time your priorities swill change.
Make two lists:
What I want to do (eventually)
What needs to be done.

I also noticed the wheels looked a little small. Something to deal with down the road.
