There should be no movement at the ends once the whole is put together ideally. I would say that in reality there may be some movement but very minor. I would think that no alignment would be needed after the installation.

Today I fabed the mounting brackets and cut the 4 tabs. The left side has shims. So I have to remove the nuts and place the bracket on and then bolt it together. On the right side there isn't any shims. So I'll be able to just bolt it on without removing the nuts. Because there is enough thread to get a full nut. Question. What do you think about that plan. About bolting the mounts different on each side. Or should I just remove the 4 original bolts and bolt the brackets the same way on both sides. It's going to look real good when I'm finished. Undecided on what color to power coat or the time to chrome

Personally I would remove the nuts and make both sides the same. Also, when you go to install the brackets, jack up the front on the side you are working on before removing the nuts. You want the weight of the wheel assembly pulling on the a-arm when you unbolt it.

The mounting bracket for the spreader bar should be flush with the frame. If there are nuts between the mounting bracket & the frame the bracket will tend to flex between the mounting points, thereby partially defeating the purpose of the spreader bar.
