Road Race clone progress. IT'S PAINTED
Yes it's painted
These pics where takin about an hour ago. We started yesterday morning. It took two of us 8.5 hours just to lay out the stripes.
The booth just finished it's bake cycle when I took these pictures. 5AM in the morning I will go sand and buff her. With two of us we should be done by noon. Then I will get her back on the wheels and outside. I will post more pics then.
Next week I'll have my buddy Flash make all the decals and I'll get them on. Thats like icing on the cake.
I can't tell you how good it feels to have it in paint.
I still need to do the int. and some minor things.

We still need to paint the headlight covers and the ft spoiler. The headlight covers are going to be a pain. I need to stripe and paint them to match the stripes on the car. But it will be worth it in the end.

Yea I think we got it. Once the decals are on it will all come together. Wait till you see the under side of the hood. It's like glass. The eng. compartment looks as good as the outside of the car. The car is coming together better than I thought.
