L-48, 1X4 barrel, H cam

Casting # 3970010
1975 350ci 2&4 bolt mains
Stamp CMJ Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Sprint, 350ci, 145HP, 350 tranny

I think he means that those blocks could either be machined with 2 OR 4 bolt main caps. $75-100 each for cores and the C4B's go for around $40 at swap meets.

Hard to say without knowing exactly how complete (accessories, air cleaner, t-stat housing, brackets, etc.), how they look, locked up, etc. But a broad stroke value is as follows assuming they turn over and are not full of water:
'77 350-$250-300
'68 350-$600-700ish
'75 350-$250-300
'66 327 shortblock-$300 to the right buyer. Small journal stuff can be hard to move.
intake-$100

I'd offer $500 for the lot and see what happens. My .02

Offer him scrap vulue and save him a trip to the yard.

Personally I can't see any of that stuff being worth much more than that unless you find someone looking for those specific casting numbers. Good luck with that.

Basically means..they came out of the factory with either 2 or 4 bolt mains. The only way to tell..is to pull the pan.

Thanks for the info...I just hate to see them head off to the scrap yard IF someone could use them
