Where is the Build Sheet ?
Did GM place build sheets in their corvettes on the assembly line like Dodge/Plymouth did ?
I know that on Challengers/Cuda/etc... you could find them under the seat springs or above theglove box, etc...
Are there any hidden spots on the Vette where I can find this information ?
Thanks for any info.

Top of the gas tank and sometimes they show up some where under the dash.

Hi Mike,
GD70 is right.
The sheet behind the dash was often behind the radio. Many, many cars have had the radio changed and the sheet went in the trash.
The sheet on the tank is more reliably there but is often in poor to very poor condition.
Regards,
Alan
Here's 2 pictures of the sheet from my 71.

I found mine glued to the top driver's side corner of the gas tank.

The Corvette Action Center has a couple of rather comprehensive articles describing Corvette build sheets...

In just the last few weeks, had an owner tell me he found his stuffed above the differential.

I have a 77, and mine was located on the gas tank shield
Or what was left of it. Could not get a thing off of it.

Hey Jeffery...have you attempted to scan to preserve the codes and print? Looks like a pretty nice one...have not seen an L48 auto 73 build sheet.

Jefferey, if I read yours correctly I think it was headed to Omaha, Nebraska after assembly. Have you had any luck tracking it from Omaha to you in Ohio? I am trying to track my two now, not easy, but can be fun. Thanks for sharing this.

I found one on a 70 with 40,000 miles folded and up inside the steering column...pretty good shape too.
