help identify this part (small plastic plug?)
I was replacing spark plug cables today, and must have knocked
this off something on or near the firewall). It is (now) broken on
one side. Any ideas what it is...where it goes?

Artsvette73 and Alan 71 are correct below is a pic and above the pedal you can see what the other half of it looks like. There are sevral along the fire wall either for carpet or heat sheilding in the car. They go thru the wall
