Was a BB?
Looking at a 68 for 12K conv…owner said was a BB but now SB 350. Do people go through the trouble and changing the front suspension when going from BB to SB? How can I tell if the BB suspension is still there?

Only noticeable suspension differences from SB to BB are the sway bars.
SB has 3/4" front and no rear, BB 15/16" front and 9/16" rear.
Also look at the way the half shafts are connected to the differential.
SB uses u-bolts with nuts, BB uses caps with nuts and bolts.
Also look at tach redline,
SB 5300 or 6000, BB 5600 or 6500.
Also check metal fuel line by pump,
SB 2 lines, BB 1 or 2 lines.

Also,look at the LHfrontinner fender right around the corner from the LH hood hinge,for a amplifier,or a triangular pattern w/3holes.That would be a 400/435,or L88 car.I guess,youcould order the 390 horse w/TI,but not likely.12k is a good price.
