I have to give my Dad all the credit for the paint job, I helped spray the primer and helped with all the block sanding and did the tape off for the stripes but I figured let the Bodyman with 30+ years experience do the final paint
We must of done a couple dozen test panels before coming up with the final color, and yes touchup will be impossible
It was a good father son project as he had the exact 69 vette back in the day which ended up getting sold when I came into the picture:o
You've got me leaning toward Brandywine instead of candy now, I should have the 80 should be ready to repaint next month.
Had a Z28 done in candy apple red and liked that too.
Stopped by the shop this morning to see the final coats of clear and it really laid out nice. My Dad still wants to buff and polish it Monday but I really think it does not need it.
You can really get some great results with the candy colors and tweak it to make it a one of a kind color
Off to the garage to make a stand for when we get the hard shell painted
Not to hijack but bluegtp I have a complete rear end shell for free from a 74 if the quarters will help you on your project. PM me if you need it and distance isnt a problem for you.
