we lost one today

bcpockets lost his 80 corvette today in the kerbeck toys for tots run
Ive been working on the vette for the last 3 years ,finally getting it to the way Bob wanted.Won several shows in the last few months including last weekend peoples choice award.Even with 2 fire extinguishers it couldnt be put out.Hell be contacting grundy on monday and then setting out to find a vert next.I put alot of time and effort into this vette and WE both are grieving.

NOt sure , happened so fast,he smelled smoke started pulling over then engulfed in flames .He said it went very quick.Just glad they were ok and no one was hurt.cars can get replaced people cant.

That's horrible! At least when they get wrecked you can get parts back out of them but there's nothing left to retrieve from this. I can't imagine what it would be like to have a total loss like this.

Sorry for his loss and I hope he bounces right back into the hobby!

Pat, Sorry to hear that. That is terrible for all concerned. Saw the post last night and my stomach sank. Always a fear of mine. He is okay and another Vette can be found. A lot of hard work and effort just lost.
