At least you can actually see the Corvette underneath the Corvette Summer car. You can't see it in the OP's posted pic. I'm not so sure a Corvette was the base car for the original posted pic. I don't know what it is but I don't think its a Corvette.

you know from the door back the first picture doesn't look half bad....the front is nasty though..

the seam between the front fender and door looks like a vettes though.

It's a Perrenti....
Australian Made Corvette Clone on a 1 ton Holden Chassis.
Steering wheel is on the right and it has NSW rego plates.
Oh and I believe it is a four seater.
Haven't actually seen one in the flesh but know they are out there.......

After looking at it, the clues are the door handles and the rear side windows. 240/280Z.

Yeah, it does look like a Datsun fashioned to look like the Corvette summer vette. Note the doors and rear windows.
