stock or not? i have the center T-top panel with a slight warp at the back window that sets it off from the rest and maybe the halo panel. My question to all off you is would replacing the ineterior panels with aftermarket still retain the value? i would think no. plus the color would be off (fading dirt etc.)
now question two- would there be a difference in panels from the same year and car part number or manufacturing number / code wise?
Im really on the fence of replacing the interior panels but then again want to keep the originality. opinions?
New T-top panels usually are plastic backed and stock panels were fiber backed. There will also usually be a sticker by the manufacturer if it's a remanufactured part.
How badly warped? You can try using a hair dryer to soften it or place it in the sun first to soften it up a bit, then weight the warped area so it straightens out some. You'll need to let it sit for several days at least. I did this with one of my T-top panels and it helped.

Are you talking about the center panel between the T Tops?
The one that runs from the windshield to the rear glass?
The one with the dome light in it?
Find a used one in good shape. I found one on Fleabay for like $40.
Perfect shape. My old one was also sagging at the back edge along the glass. The cardboard backer was shot.
You can spray dye these really easy to match your interior.
No one would know any different.
From what I read new interior trim pieces look nice because they're NEW. But people often say that they don't fit well.
I agree with the thoughts to try repair and use what you have.
