Hi John,
You have a REALLY BIG birthday to celebrate soon. You better get started on the party planning.
Even 40 year olds like cake and ice cream!!!
Regards,
Alan
Yep. Thursday, November 7, 1968. Your car was probably not finished on that date and usually would have required another day or day and half to have been completed. 11/7/68 is the date your car passed the station on the assembly line where the trim tag was attached. She probably spent most of Wednesday, 11/6 in the body and paint shops.

That's interesting information. Just for amusement, is it possible to find out anything about a car if you have the frame number (body type/engine combo, etc)? I've got a spare '69 frame I'm modifying (installing a C4 suspension) for my '69. Every now and then I get curious what this frame was hauling around in an earlier life.
yeah, two spots on the frame should have partial VIN stampings,
for 69 the stamping should be 19S7XXXXX with the X's the last 5 of the VIN.
this partial VIN means the full VIN would have been 194379S7XXXXX for Coupe or 194679S7XXXXX for Convertible.
