Here is my projects at the moment. Rear out, updating to a stronger stub axles. 1 has a slight twist. Transmission is out for an update and just finally got around to installing the Steeroids.

Here you can see the rear on the workbench.

Got the old original harrison radiator out and cleaned up the support and crossmember and ran out of time before having to go to work.
Next is the While I'm At It, going to redo the A-arms and bushings, install new springs, and redo the front steering, then once that is finished reinstall my new Dewitt radiator. Once the front end is buttoned up I'll replace the heater core. Then after that I'm sure I can find something to do on the rearend.

ARE THOSE CIRCLES AROUND THE HALF SHAFTS THERE TO KEEP THE SHAFTS from damaging everything should they break? Looks like you have beefed up everything.

Great idea for a thread. Hopefully I can get down there and install the rear strut rods that have been on my shelf for the past few years.

I really like Gordon's drag hoops. This could save some damage if something should happen while playing. Adding this one to my list of things to do someday.

Keep the ideas coming guys.

Actually very easy to install. If you have headers they will need to come off to get the old steering box out but other than tha tvery easy. I just dropped the whole system but the steering box then dropped that. Once cleaned up it takesvery little time. I have not fired it up for obvious reasons but it should just be a fill of fluid and ge tall the air out of the system.

As for the loops. They were part of the 6 link system but can be purchased seperatly. Strictly for safety reasons. Another reason I did the 6 link so that if the shaft does let go I still have control of the rear. The half shaft is no longer a stressed suspension member. I do not even have the snap rings on the stub shafts.

My next project is to install the PCV catch can as soon as I get her back from the alignment shop. Then it is more wire tidying up and latching down the battery and computer. The projects are getting smaller!

Default 69 Radiator & Front Suspension Rebuild

The plan is to install a new DeWitt's Radiator. Sent the radiator shroud and lower support out for powdercoating. Got new hoses and seals from Dr. Rebuild

I should have the front suspension/steering completely out for powdercoating and new bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends. Whatever fits in my 30" oven will be powdercoated.

It's all fun!

Also have the simple task of replacing the heater core! YEEHA! Glad this one doesn't have AC!

This year is a 3" year. Installing these, including 3" driveshaft, 3" half shafts with solid spicers, 3" exhaust after the trany is in.

I just installed my L88 hood on my 72. I bought the hood used. I stripped the 6 layers of paint it had on it, then I installed it on the car to make sure it fits good before I spend the $$$ to get it painted.
Now I'm having a hard time desiding how to match the strips I have on the car. Here are some pic.
