What is this part?
I was replacing the bulbs on my 73 vette and noticed this part was broke and the wire was not connected. It was attached behind the headlight assembly. What is it and what is it for? Sorry the pictures not that good it was taken with my cell phone.

If it is the headlight warning light switch, something doesn't look right with it. But, looking at it now, I see the nut to the left. The point of contact is on the side. Dr Rebuild sellls these.......................
