81 blinker problem
81 corvette
when turned on, the lights just light up thats it. nothing shows on the dash either. brand new bulbs in rear and blinker fuse.

I would guess a ground problem on the no blinking or a bad flasher.On the no dash indicators that could be a separate issue maybe bulbs burned out or the common between the 2 bulbs is ground or the printed circuit plug.Also usually if the poor ground is found for the front signals the turn indicators will come on when the parking lights are on-does this happen?
For the flasher to flash it needs a load of a couple bulbs-burned bulbs will create NO load as will an ungrounded bulb or socket.(i doubt that burned out dash indicator bulbs would lighten the load enough to cause the flasher not to flash but that would be a common to tie all your problems together)

The harmonica connector is a long flat connector usually attached to the side of the steering column and connects the turn signal switch to the dash harness.All your turn signal wires go up to the switch and come back down.Sounds as if you might have a turn sig. switch that has failed.
